Contentment Over Complacency - Ignite Your Atmosphere

Contentment Over Complacency

For those of us that feel that unexplainable drive, that fiery passion, that unyielding pull towards destiny, frustration is often the tricky course we navigate. Frustration exists because many times we find ourselves in the middle. The middle is the place that exist between promise and manifestation, faith and fulfillment, and is the scary twilight zone we call waiting. It is easy to feel like giving up when what you believe God has promised you seems to always be out of your reach. Balance then becomes paramount in these moments as we seek to understand what God is cultivating and nurturing in us. Balance is critical because it tempers your spirit as you carry the expectation of promise. We must balance our life and minds with the power of contentment. We must learn to embrace contentment without being complacent. Contentment says, I may not have it now, but I’m going to rest in the promise of Christ because I know it’s not over yet! True contentment comes with the joy of knowing that while I am waiting God has my best interest in mind, and is fully invested in brining every promise to pass in my life. Paul says inPhilippians 4:11 KJV

Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. I have peace where I am because I don’t plan to stay where I am. Today be bold to choose contentment over complacency.
