Even in our greatest moments of victory we are just one step away from our deepest point of weakness. Life will bring us peaks as well as valleys and God teaches us how to manage both through the things we suffer.
2 Corinthians 12:10 KJVS
[10] Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
I’ve learned that I’m closest to God when I recognize I can’t handle what I’m going through on my own. I’ve got to depend on Jesus. God is our refuge and a very present help in trouble. God promised to be with us in the good and the bad. God is in touch and in tune with the heart of His people, and he will not throw us away. He will never abandon us. God is close to the broken.
Psalm 34:18
18 The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.
Life will leave us broken at times, but we must be real with God and take Him the pieces of our broken hearts. Honesty with God is paramount! God is more interested in substance over facade, and content over packaging.
There is an anointing from God to heal your broken places so that others can be healed through you.
God is the healer of the broken.
