1 Timothy 4:1 NLT
Now the Holy Spirit tells us clearly that in the last times some will turn away from the true faith; they will follow deceptive spirits and teachings that come from demons.
The constant challenge of faith is the dynamic of our faith versus our feelings. Our feelings both inside and out, are produced by our senses; what see, hear, touch, smell, and taste. It is important that as we trust God daily we don’t allow our feelings to take the lead in our decisions, but rather our faith in His Word. The true essence of believing God is not the denial of our reality, it is believing in spite of our reality. II Corinthians 5:7 “We walk by faith and not by sight”-KJV
There will be many things that go on in our country and in our world that will come to shake us, but we cannot allow our surrounding circumstances to dictate our faith in God. We cannot allow disappointment to rob us of our faith in God. We must always boldly declare that God is able! The three Hebrew boys in the book of Daniel understood this powerful truth. Even when they faced a burning fiery furnace that was there to destroy them, they didn’t let the situation make them lose faith. The three Hebrew boys said that if God doesn’t deliver them, “He’s still able”. They were thrown into the fire, but God was in there with them. I want to remind you today, no matter what, don’t let anything make you get out of faith. Stay focused, encourage yourself, keep on praying, and STAY IN FAITH!
